1. Acceptance

By accessing or using QAID ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Account Responsibilities

• Your account is created by an administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must change your password on first login.
• You must not share your account with others or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose: submitting and managing quality analysis jobs within your organization. You must not:

• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise platform security.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users or organizations.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Circumvent rate limits or other protective measures.

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the data you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We process your data solely to provide the analysis service.

5. Data Retention

Analysis data (uploaded files, job results, reports) is retained for one (1) year from submission, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. You may download your data at any time before deletion.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen circumstances may cause temporary downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to data loss or analysis inaccuracies.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Administrators may deactivate accounts for policy violations. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the platform operator is located.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
